FULL ITINERARY
DAY 1: The Community
Pick-up at 9:00 am from your hotel. At 10:00 am, take the speedboat for 1.5 hours on the Amazon River to the community of Gamboa (Peru), looking for birds and pink and gray dolphins along the way. Gamboa is a completely pedestrian area with no vehicles. Stop in Gamboa for lunch, a meal prepared by a mother from the community (if the day falls on a Sunday or Monday, you will have already had lunch in Leticia). Finally meet the indigenous community and your local guide. Embark on a jungle hike to visit the sloths (the largest monkey species in the Amazon). Hike through the jungle on flat terrain to see the ceiba tree, the largest tree species in the Amazon, and learn about the Tikuna legend associated with this unforgettable tree. Take a boat to a jungle camp for the night (boat trips are available from December to April when the river is high). Set up your hammocks and belongings at the camp. Go out by boat to Lake Camungo to learn traditional fishing techniques for catching piranhas, sardines, sabaletas, carawasú, and other fish. Build a campfire to cook the fish for dinner, which can be accompanied by plantains, rice, and salad. Enjoy dinner in the jungle on the shores of Lake Camungo. Go on a caiman safari at dusk, taking a boat trip to look for the yellow or red eyes of the caimans and learn about this fascinating species. You will also have the opportunity to fish with them. Nighttime arrows. Spend the night in the jungle in hammocks with mosquito nets.
DAY 2
Wake up at the jungle camp and have breakfast (may include fruit, fried yucca, bread, and coffee). Return to the Gamboa indigenous community. Prepare for the departure, where you will take an approximately 2-hour hike, searching for medicinal plants and learning about the illnesses they are used to treat. Learn about the history of the indigenous guide and how the Gamboa indigenous community was founded. Enjoy a typical lunch in the Gamboa indigenous community, prepared by the mothers of the community. Cross the Amazon River to visit the beach, another opportunity to see pink and gray dolphins. Stop at the sandy island in the middle of the Amazon River, which can be enjoyed during the dry season. Take a boat trip of approximately 25 minutes back to the community to hear stories about the animals. Dinner in the Gamboa indigenous community

DAY 3

1 DAY; Puerto Nariño
* Start of the tour: Pick up at the airport or pick up at your hotel in Leticia.
Transfer to the port of Leticia to take a fast boat for 2 hours until you reach the municipality of Puerto Nariño, where the guides will be waiting for you, then go out to have breakfast or a delicious lunch and then the hotel.., after the hotel, you will go out to visit some tourist attractions in this beautiful municipality. Then in the afternoon you will also visit a natural reserve called wochine, an incredible place where you will be able to see the largest freshwater scale fish called pirarucu, you will also be able to see more species of small fish, with luck also alligators. During the night you have the opportunity to take a night walk through the jungle looking to see all kinds of insects, frogs, spiders, everything possible ... that our beautiful jungle wants to show you, then return to have dinner and then your hotel.
2 DAY Puerto Nariño- Tarapoto lake
* Breakfast 7:30am to 8:00am at your hotel. Transfer to the port to take your private boat then head to the indigenous community of Santa Clara de Tarapoto, a very small indigenous community with 70 inhabitants and 12 houses, Here you will have the opportunity to have a cultural exchange, you can fish the famous piranhas, walk through the primary jungle, have a delicious lunch and a delicious homemade dinner, during the night, you have another opportunity to see more caimanes. With luck you can see more nocturnal animals. Maybe you can have a very starry sky... during the trip... you can see dolphins, birds, monkeys... and other animals with more luck, after dinner return to Puerto Nariño... if you like... you have the option... to sleep in this beautiful indigenous community.
3 DAY; Return to leticia.
* Breakfast 7:30am to 8:00am at your hotel, after breakfast..you have another opportunity to see more dolphins, more birds, also look to see the sloths also with more luck more monkeys, then return to visit another tourist attraction of this municipality, the Naipata viewpoint, here you can also enjoy a delicious homemade ice cream. Day 1: Puerto Nariño
6:15 am One of our coordinators in Leticia will pick you up from your hotel.
7:00 am You will take a 2-hour speedboat ride on the Amazon River to Puerto Nariño, where you will meet your guide.
Breakfast in Puerto Nariño. Take a hike through the cloud forest to visit the Wochine Reserve, where you will see the pirarucu, the largest fish species in the Amazon, as well as caimans, dragonfish, and turtles. Return to Puerto Nariño for lunch.
Visit the Natutama Foundation for a cultural exhibit by the Tikuna tribe to learn about the animals that live along the Amazon River.
Visit Alto del Águila, a place in the jungle where you can see wild squirrel monkeys, titi monkeys (lion monkeys), and macaws.
Dinner in Puerto Nariño. Once night falls, take a night hike in the jungle to look for scorpions, tarantulas, poison dart frogs, and insects. Return to Puerto Nariño to spend the night at the hotel (private rooms and bathrooms, no hot water).
Day 2: Lake Tarapoto
Breakfast in Puerto Nariño. Take a private boat to pass through small lakes that flow into the Amazon River, arriving at the indigenous community of Lake Tarapoto. Look out for birds and pink and gray dolphins along the way. Enter Lake Tarapoto and finally reach the indigenous community to meet an additional community guide. Leave your belongings in the community's traditional cabin, where you will spend the night. From June to December, dry season: take a hike through the flat jungle to see the largest ceiba tree in the Amazon and learn about the Tikuna legend associated with this unforgettable tree. From December to June, rainy season: take a canoe trip through the flooded jungle to see the ceiba tree. Take a boat trip to Lake Tarapoto to learn traditional fishing techniques for piranhas, sardines, and other species (please note that fishing is much easier during the dry season from June to December, and you may not catch anything during the rainy season). Enjoy a refreshing swim in the lake and the beautiful sunset, followed by dinner at a family home, prepared by mothers from the community. As night falls, head out onto the lake for an approximately one-hour caiman safari by boat, searching for the yellow or red eyes of the caimans and learning about this fascinating species. Spend the night in a traditional cabin by Lake Tarapoto.
Day 3
Return to Puerto Nariño for breakfast. Take another boat trip for a chance to see pink and gray river dolphins in the Amazon River, their natural habitat. Then, travel by boat to Lake Yolvino to look for bears, birds, and iguanas. During the rainy season, you can also paddle traditional canoes along the river and venture into the flooded forest.
Return to Puerto Nariño for lunch.
Climb to the viewpoint in Puerto Nariño to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the Amazon River and the rainforest.
Try delicious artisanal ice cream made with Amazonian fruits.
Take a speedboat back to Leticia at 3:00 p.m. and arrive in Leticia at 5:00 p.m.

Day 1: Leticia - Tabatinga, Brazil
The tour begins:
* Pick-up at Leticia airport and transfer to your hotel. Afterward, we will travel to Brazil to enjoy lunch in the town of Tabatinga, a magical place renowned for its delicious restaurants serving authentic Amazonian cuisine and for offering one of the best panoramic views of the tri-border area: Brazil, Colombia, and Peru.
* After a pleasant tour of Tabatinga, we will return to the beautiful city of Leticia for a short rest. Later, we will visit one of the city's most emblematic tourist attractions: Santander Park, also known as Parrot Park. This park gets its name because, at dusk, thousands of parakeets and black swallows migrate from the border islands to spend the night, offering a unique natural spectacle.
* Finally, we'll go out to enjoy dinner and conclude this first day of unforgettable experiences.
Day 2; Puerto Nariño.
* Hotel departure – 8:00 a.m. At this time, a taxi will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the port of Leticia, where you will board a speedboat for an approximately two-hour trip to Puerto Nariño. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your local guide, and if you don't speak Spanish, an interpreter will be provided.
* After checking into the hotel, you will board a private tourist boat for a dolphin-watching excursion, where you can observe the two species that inhabit the region: the pink river dolphin and the gray river dolphin. Afterward, you will return to Puerto Nariño to enjoy lunch at one of the town's delicious local restaurants.
* Departure from the hotel – 8:00 a.m. At this time, a taxi will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the port of Leticia, where you will board a speedboat for an approximately two-hour trip to Puerto Nariño. * After lunch, you will board your private boat again to head to Lake Tarapoto. In this beautiful natural setting, you can enjoy activities such as fishing for the famous piranhas, swimming (if you wish), and visiting a small indigenous community. During the outbound and return trips, you will have the opportunity to observe dolphins, birds, monkeys, and, with a bit of luck, other wildlife. You will also be able to appreciate a spectacular and colorful Amazonian sunset.
* As night falls, you will go out to observe caimans, nocturnal birds, and other native animals of the region. Finally, you will return to the village for dinner and be transferred to your hotel.
Day 3; Puerto Nariño - San Antonio Indigenous Community, Peru
* Breakfast: between 7:30 am and 8:00 am
* After breakfast, you will board a private tourist boat to one of the most authentic and welcoming indigenous communities in Peru. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a local guide from the community, who will show you their culture, their beautiful territory, and the surrounding rainforest. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to observe sloths, a wide variety of birds, and, with a bit of luck, other wildlife.
* The experience includes a delicious homemade lunch. Afterward, we'll return to Colombia, enjoying sightings of dolphins, birds, and other wildlife along the way.
* Upon arrival, return to the hotel for a short rest. Later, prepare for an approximately 1.5-hour night hike, during which you can discover and admire all that our beautiful Amazon rainforest has to offer.
Day 4: Return to Leticia
* Breakfast: between 7:30 am and 8:00 am
After breakfast, we'll visit a nature reserve called Wochine, a unique and special place where you'll have the opportunity to observe the world's largest scaly freshwater fish, the pirarucu. You'll also be able to see various species of fish and, with a bit of luck, caimans and turtles.
* Afterward, we'll return to Puerto Nariño to enjoy a delicious homemade ice cream. We'll continue with a visit to the town's viewpoint, where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Afterward, we'll have a farewell lunch.
Finally, we'll board the last speedboat to return to Leticia. The tour will conclude in Leticia, with a transfer to your hotel or to the airport if you have a flight scheduled for that same day.

Wildlife and Flora Observation
8:00 a.m. Meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to the river dock on the Amazon River.
Departure by speedboat for a customized Amazon tour. We navigate the Amazon upstream towards the Peruvian side.
Spectacular panoramic views of the mighty Amazon River and the Peruvian rainforest.
Arrival at the Marasha Nature Reserve port.
Our adventure begins with a hike along nature trails to Lake Marasha (approx. 2 hours). (During the high water season, access is only possible by canoe.)
Observe the flora and fauna of the flooded rainforest area. During the hike, we will identify species used in ethnobotany, learning about the dynamics of this ecosystem.
Lunch at the Marasha Nature Reserve, savoring Peruvian cuisine.
Experience artisanal fishing, catching piranhas and other species. We will take a tour in kayaks or traditional canoes on Lake Marasha, enjoying a fascinating view of the natural landscapes that make up the lake.
Observe the Hoatzin, a primitive bird species that inhabits the lake's shores.
Encounter the Grandfather Tree, an imposing ceiba tree over 400 years old.
Hike along the trail to the Marasha Nature Reserve port (1.5 hours). Optional: Slow boat trip along waterways to the Marasha Reserve port (return by slow boat is only possible during high water). Return to Leticia.
5:00 p.m. Arrival at the Leticia dock, transfer to the hotel.
DIA 2
Meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to the river dock on the Amazon River.
Departure by speedboat for a customized Amazon tour. We'll navigate the Amazon upstream to Puerto Nariño.
Orientation at the imaginary point of the three borders, with spectacular panoramic views of the border towns of Brazil, Peru, and Colombia.
During the journey on the mighty river, we'll appreciate the Amazon rainforest and the riverside villages of the Ticuna and Yagua indigenous peoples (of Peru and Colombia).
Further upstream, we'll arrive at the Monkey Island Nature Reserve, where we'll encounter troops of squirrel monkeys, the dominant species on the island.
Continuing our tour, we'll visit the Ticuna artisan community of Macedonia, where we'll have a brief cultural exchange with the community members and purchase handicrafts.
Arrival in Puerto Nariño, followed by a visit to and exploration of the town's urban area.
Visit to the Naipata viewpoint, enjoying a pleasant panoramic view of the municipality of Puerto Nariño and the surrounding lakes, as well as the mighty Amazon River.
Lunch at Doña Luz restaurant, savoring the local cuisine.
Boat tour with panoramic views of the Tarapoto Lakes, including Sapo Lake, Correo Lake, Tarapoto, and flooded rainforest landscapes. (The lakes can only be visited during the high-water season.)
Observation of pink and gray Amazon river dolphins (a high-probability natural attraction, subject to activity levels and route conditions).
5:00 p.m. Arrival at the Leticia dock, transfer to the hotel.
